In Assam, the over all flood situation of Karimganj district of Barak Valley continues to be very critical with the number of flood affected people in the district going to cross over 3 lakh. Meanwhile, all the rivers of the valley including major river Barak are in high spates causing fear psychosis of a possible flood to the people of the neighbouring Cachar district of the valley.<br/>
