In Assam, the flood situation in Karimganj district of Barak valley remains critical for the 4th day on Monday. Over three lakh people are affected by the flood. The Deputy Commissioner Incharge of Karimganj, A. Nanda Babu Singla told AIR Silchar correspondent that altogether 244 relief camps have been set up in the flood affected areas of the district and over 45 thousand people are taking shelters in the camps.
