In Gujarat, flood situation in flood affected areas of Saurashtra and Kutch is continuing to be grim. AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that till this morning heavy downpour has been recorded in Jamnagar, Porbandar and Kutch districts. Several hundreds people have been shifted to the safer places where they are being provided food and water. Road communications in more than 200 villages have been cut off. Dams, rivers and water reservours are also overflowing. The Met office has warned for heavy rain during next 24 hours in the region.
