Flood situation improving in Patiala and Sangrur districts

<br/>In Punjab, flood situation is improving in Patiala and Sangrur districts but water has submerged 5 more villages in Sardulgarh area of Mansa district. Ghaghar River is flowing two feet above the danger level in the area. Water has inundated crops in 8000 acres of land and about 20 villages are affected with the flood.<br/><br/>Army jawans and personnel of National Disaster Response force are helping the people and district administration has asked ITBP to deploy its men. Dy. Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, Bhatinda MP Har Simran Kaur and Rajya Sabha Member Balwinder Singh took aerial view of the area yesterday. According to official sources in Chandigarh the central team is visiting the flood hit areas of the state on 19th of this month.
