Flood situation improving in Haryana

In Haryana, flood situation is improving continuously. The residents of flood affected areas of Yamunnagar has taken sigh of relief after the water level in Yamuna river receded. On Friday, the water level in Yamuna at Hathnnikund Barrage was recorded at 58 thousand one hundred and 30 cusecs only. As per information received from official sources six thousand cusecs of water from Hathnikund Barrage flowed in Western Yamuna canal and about fifty two thousand cusecs of water flowed in Yamuna river on Friday. Yamunanagar Deputy Commissioner said that the water level in Yamuna had come down and situation in the flood affected villages is improving.
