Flood situation is gradually improving in Bihar. Relief work has been stepped up following the decrease of water-level in North Bihar Rivers including Adhwara. Many villages of Madhubani, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, and Muzaffarpur districts are still inundated. Foodgrains, polythene sheets with 250 cash of rupees per family are being distributed in the flood-hit districts and disrupted road links are being restored.
