Flood situation improves in some parts of Bihar

In Bihar, the flood situation in Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur districts of North Bihar is improving while it is worsening in Darbhanga district. Heavy pressure of water on the Darbhanga urban protection bund has increased the threat of flood in the district headquarters. Increase in water level in Adhwara rivers has inundated new areas. Besides other roads, traffic is still blocked on the Darbhanga-Jainagar National Highway and Sheohar-Muzaffarpur due to flowing water.
