In Madhya Pradesh, the situation in flood affected nine districts has slightly improved. AIR Bhopal correspondent reports, Narmada is still flowing above danger mark at several places.Teams of army are still engaged in relief and rescue operations in Hoshangabad and Dewas districts.About one thousand people have been evacuated in Dewas while about three thousand people are living in relief camps in Hoshangabad district.Harda, Sehore, Khargone and Khandwa are other districts of the Narmada belt which are worst affected by the flood.The good news is that there is some respite from rain in eastern parts of the state and level of Narmada has also a bit subsided.The state government has released an amount of Rs. 43 crore to provide interim relief to flood affected people.Several trains coming from South are running late as a portion of the support base of railway track between Barbatpur and Magarodoh railway stations on New Delhi-Chennai route has been washed away.
