The flood situation is still grim in the four districts of Karnataka. In Raichur rescue operations are on, in 17 villages near Gurjapur flooded by Bhima and Krishna rivers. According to the Karnataka Disaster Monitoring Centre, 36,290 people are evacuated from villages near Bhima and Krishna rivers in Kalburgi, Vijayapura, Raichur and Yadgiri districts. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Due to flooding 97 villages in 13 taluks in these four districts are affected. There are over 28,000 people sheltered in 174 relief camps. Four columns of army personnel, eight NDRF, four teams of fire personnel along with personnel from SDRF are deputed for rescue operations in these four districts.
