In Assam, flood has affected 30 thousand people and submerged vast tract of agricultural land in Lakhimpur, Sonitpur, Jorhat and Morigaon districts. Our correspondent reports that incessant rain in Assam and neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh has resulted in flooding of the dozens of villages in Assam.
