The recent flood in the Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh has claimed at least seven lives. The victims include 4 women. The bodies of 4 victims have already been recovered. The district experienced flood due to heavy rains during the last couple of days which made a local river ‘Kokoor’ overflow its banks and cause extensive damage to the lives of humans as well as cattle, houses and crop lands.
