Flood and incessant rain disrupt normal life in Arunachal

In Arunachal Pradesh, flood and incessant rain have disrupted normal life in most part of the state. State Water Resources Development Minister Newlai Tingkhatra conducted aerial survey of the flood affected areas and took stock of the situation. Flood has affected over one lakh and 45 thousand people in the state. 3,000 people have taken shelter in 19 relief camps.Road communications and power and water supply have been badly affected in the state. Tezu-Tinsukia road has been washed away at 15 places between Tezu and Parsuram Kund point. All major rivers were in full spate. All schools and college have been closed in the state.
