Assam State Disaster Management Authority has issued fresh flood alert in eight districts this evening. Official sources said that low to moderate flood alert has been sounded at several places for the next 24 to 48 hours in Kamrup Rural and Metro, Dhemaji, Nalbari ,Bongaigaon, Chirang, Baksa and Barpeta districts. <br/><br/>Several rivers are flowing above the danger level since this morning. Meanwhile, around 68 thousand people have been affected in current surge of water in five districts.
