Air India, Jet, Kingfisher flights to Europe remain cancelled for the sixth consecutive day on Tuesday. The cancellation of flights is in the wake of huge clouds of volcanic ash emanating from Iceland. <br/> <br/>However, Air India and Jet operated their flights to the US and Canada through a different route with technical stopovers at Cairo and Athens. <br/> <br/>Air India would also operate a combined flight AI 191/144 on the Delhi-Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Newark-Mumbai to clear the backlog of passengers between India and Newark.<br/> <br/>In a reaction to RBI announcement, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex shot up 150 points to 17,551 at midsession on Tuesday.<br/>
