Flight operations remain normal at IGI airport

Flight operations at the IGI airport in New Delhi largely remained normal on Tuesday after three days of disruptions due to dense fog. Most of the flights operated as per schedule though the visibility was low.However, due to cascading effect of the past three days, about 60 flights were delayed while eight were cancelled. About 300 flights have been affected due to fog in the past three days. Met department has predicted that visibility at the airport may remain below 200 metres in dense fog between 9.30 PM and 10.30 AM on Wednesday.
