Flight operations normal

Flight operations at the Indira Gandhi International airport in New Delhi were normal today despite fog. An airport official said though there was shallow fog; all the domestic and international flights are operating as per schedule. The general visibility dropped to 50 meters due to fog but the runway visibility at main runway was around 1,200 meters and 800 meters at new runway.<br/>Some flights to cities like Imphal, Chandigarh and Srinagar were either delayed or cancelled due to bad weather conditions at those destinations.<br/>
