Flash floods in eastern Indonesia kill at least 26

At least 26 people have been killed in landslides and flash floods in eastern Indonesia. Many more have been injured or are missing after days of heavy rain in the Teluk Wondama district of west Papua. Local officials appealed for tents and medical supplies for the hundreds of people who have lost their homes. Thousands have fled the area.
