Five workers killed as building collapsed in AP

In Andhra Pradesh, the death toll rose to 5 in the building collapse incident in Hyderabad. All the dead are identified as workers. Some more workers are suspected to be trapped under the debris of the 4-storied building. Rescue operations are underway to pullout the trapped workers. The mishap took place in Narayaguda area in the city when a 4-storied under-construction building besides a private school collapsed suddenly.<br/><br/>All the students from the school have been immediately evacuated as a precaution. District Collector Naveen Mittal and city police Commissioner A K Khan are monitoring the rescue operations. Meanwhile, the Municipal Administration Minister Aanam Ramnarayana Reddy ordered an enquiry into the incident.<br/><br/>Labour minister Ramreddy VenkatReddy has announced an exgratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of victims.
