In Orissa, five railway staff are feared killed in an accident between two goods trains at Tangriapal station, about 125 km from Bhubaneswar early Wednesday morning. The accident occurred when a goods train halting at the Tangriapal station had a head-on collision with another goods train loaded with iron ores coming from Nayagarh station in Keonjhar district. The dead body of an assistant train driver has been recovered. Efforts are on to recover other bodies also. Rescue and repair operation is going on at Tangriapal railway station to restore normalcy in train movements. The incessant rain since early Wednesday morning at the accident site is coming in the way of relief and rescue operation. A medical team and senior railway officials have rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, a number of trains on the rail route has been cancelled.
