The incessant rain Mumbai and other neighbouring districts is causing loss of life and property. While a wall collapse in Mumbai claimed five lives yesterday, 16 fishermen from Alibaug who had ventured into the rough sea are still reported to be missing. AIR Raigad correspondent reports that five boats had ventured into the rough sea on Thursday, three of these boats have sunk and two are safe. Thirty three fishermen are reported to have reached the shores safely and six of them have been hospitalised.
