Five permanent members of UNSC and Germany held talks on Iran

The Ambassadors of five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany have held closed door talks in New York on fresh sanctions against Iran over its nuclear programme.<br/><br/>Diplomats said the envoys of four Western powers have been trying to enlist the support of their Russian and Chinese counterparts for fresh UN sanctions against Iran. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the US Military has warned that Iran could produce highly-enriched uranium for a nuclear bomb in one year. <br/><br/>Speaking in the US Senate Armed Services Committee, two senior American military officials, however said that Teheran will take another three to five years to actually produce a nuclear weapon. <br/><br/>The warning came as Iran said it has produced its first significant batch of more highly-enriched uranium<br/>
