In Chhattisgarh, five Naxalites were killed in an encounter with police in Narayanpur district on Sunday. The encounter took place in the Hongnar jungle under the Benur police station area of the district.Police have recovered all the dead bodies of the naxalites killed in the encounter along with some weapons and Moist literature.Meanwhile, in Jharkhand, outlawed CPI (Maoists) blew up railway tracks between Bhalulata and Jaraikela stations on Tata- Mumbai main line in West Singhbhum district last night. AIR correspondent reports that the blast damaged a goods train and the movement of trains on this route has been paralysed.In Bihar, the rail traffic on Patna-Howrah rail section has been restored. The movement of trains on this rail section was paralysed following blowing up of railway track by Maoists in Jamui district. Over one dozen trains have been cancelled in view of the Maoist bandh. Railways have deployed additional security forces in those trains which are passing through Bihar. AIR Patna Correspondent reports that the normal life was disrupted in rural areas where Maoists have their influence.In Orissa, the bandh called by Maoists evoked little response.
