Five militants from different outfits have surrendered in Manipur. One cadre each from the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK), Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) and two activists of the People's United Liberation Front (PULF) surrendered before police last evening. The arms surrendered included an M16 rifle and four 9mm pistols along with some ammunition.
