A five member Parliamentary delegation will reach Copenhagen tomorrow. Talking to reporters, delegation member from Rajya Sabha Mr Sitaram Yechury of CPI(M) said that the delegation will forward India's stand stressing upon equality in per capita emission. Stating that the developed countries are trying to escape from their historical responsibility, Mr Yechury advocated the 'common but differentiated' approach for carbon cuts. He said that the main focus of the delegation will be to maintain India's stand which is against any binding emission cuts or international monitoring for the developing nation. He also stressed upon technological and fund transfer from developed countries to meet the goal of green growth. Mr Yechury added that no peak year proposed by developed countries should be accepted.<br/>Other members of the delegation include Dr M S Swaminathan from Rajya Sabha and Dr Muril Manohar Joshi of BJP, Mr Bhrturuhari Mahtab of the BJD and Mr Hamdullah Sayeed of Congress from the Lok Sabha. The members will participate in activities with Parliamentary delegations from other countries.<br/>India's proposal to set up a network of climate innovation centers in various countries for developing and sharing green technologies has been accepted and will form the basis of the final Copenhagen agreement.Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh told this to reporters in Copenhagen on the sidelines of the 12-day climate summit . He said,the concept of network of climate energy innovation centers is very much part of the international agenda. The climate innovation centres are aimed at identifying and developing local technology requirements and also for facilitating dissemination of current technologies.<br/>When asked whether there was any friction with the US over implementation of the proposal, especially on sharing of intellectual property rights,Mr. Ramesh denied but admitted there were differences on intellectual property rights issue .<br/>
