In Rajasthan, five lakh cheap houses will be constructed for urban poor under the affordable housing policy. This was announced by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot while laying the foundation stone of “Sahbhagita Awas Yojna” near Jaipur on Friday. He said that 21 such housing schemes will be developed across the state on the PPP model. The cost of the house to be allotted to the urban poor under this scheme will be just two lakh 40 thousand rupees
