In Andhra Pradesh, Five labourers were killed and an equal nimber seriously injured in a road accident. The incident occurred at Duvva village when the tractor in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding lorry in West Godavari district. The tractor was carrying sugarcane for processing purpose to Andhra Sugar factory from Neladhrigudam in the district. Police said, five labourers, who were seated atop the sugarcane load, died on the spot while the critically injured have been admitted to the government General hospital at Eluru.
