In Kerala, five youths were killed when a car collided with a truck near Palarivattom on the Edappally-Aroor bypass in Kochi early on thursday morning. Five others injured in the mishap have been admitted to a private hospital nearby. The condition of two persons admitted to the hospital is said to be serious. Police said the occupants of the car, belonging to Palluruthy area in Kochi, were returning after a trip to Mysore.
