In Pakistan, at least five people were killed and more than 49 injured, some of them seriously in a suicide attack in central Peshawar today. Police said a suicide bomber blew himself up near the gate of session court. Several vehicles caught fire after the blast. The injured have been admitted to Lady Reading Hospital. Investigators have recovered some parts of the suicide jacket, nut screws and bolts and bearings from the blast site.
