In Jammu and Kashmir, five persons were killed on spot while 26 others injured, some of them seriously, in a road accident in Rajouri district today. The accident occurred when an overloaded minibus on its way from Kalakot to Tatapani skidded off the road and fell into a gorge on Rajouri-Kalakot road near Khadkalan. AIR Jammu correspondent Yogesh Sharma, quoting police sources reports that the rescue operation was carried out by the locals and police personnel, who rushed the injured to Kalakot hospital. 13 injured have been sent to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
