One youth was seriously injured and four received injuries when security forces opened fire in Chanapora area of Srinagar city on Friday. The seriously injured youth has been refered to Soura medical institute in critical condition. The incident took place amid protest and slogan shouting by a group of youth in the area.Earlier authorites had imposed restrictions on Peoples movement in large parts of Srinagar city on Friday morning keeping in view the call of Huriat conference for protest demonstrations after Friday prayers.
