As many as five Indian singles players have entered the quarter-fianls of the Vietnam Open Grand Prix badminton tournament. At the Ho Chih Minh city on Thursday, Aditi Mutatkar, Arundhati Pantawane, P V Sindhu, Ajay Jayaram and R M V Gurusaidutt beat their respective opponents to reach the last eight stage. In the women's singles, unseeded Mutatkar overcame Hsiao Huan Chen of Chinese Taipei in a hard fought match.Young prodigy P V Sindhu also showed her brilliance as she edged past sixth seeded Aprilla Yuswandari of Indonesia in straight sets. Arundhati Pantawane, also recorded a fine win against Jing Yi Tee of Malaysia . In men's singles, 12th seed R M V Gurusaidutt overcame seventh seed Jen Hao Hsu of Chinese Taipei.
