Five Indian crew members of Sunken Cargo Ship Emerald Star are being brought to Manila Philippines before their repatriation to home.

Right now they are in Irene, Philippines. In a series of tweets, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, Indian Officials from Guangzhou Consulate visited the injured 11 crew members in a Xiamen hospital.

He said, search for missing ten crew members is still ongoing using aircraft and vessels. An Indian Navy aircraft has already joined the search and rescue operation.

Last week, the Hong Kong-registered ship with 26 Indians on-board sent a distress signal as a typhoon churned in the region.
