The Goa Police today suspended five Police officials including one Police Inspector, one Head Constable and three constables for their alleged links with the drug mafia.<br/><br/>Briefing reporters at his official residence in the presence of the Home Minister Mr. Ravi Naik and the Director General of Police Mr. Bhimsen Bassi, the Chief Minister Mr. Digambar Kamat said Police Inspector Mr.Ashish Shirodker, Head Constable Hasan Sheikh and Constables Mr. Saieesh Pokle, Sanjay Parab and Sandip Parab were suspended today following reports by a local electronic channel alleging links of these officials with the drug peddlers. <br/><br/>The Chief Minister said initial investigations revealed that the five policemen are connected with the drugs trade.He said the five officials are under investigation.<br/>
