In Uttar Pradesh five persons died and one was taken ill after consuming spurious liquor in Meerut district while five others were killed in two separate road accidents in Moradabad district. <br/>District police chief Meerut M K Bashal has said that the victims had purchased the liquor from a vendor at Meerapur-Bijnour road of Muzaffarnagar district, who is absconding after the incident.<br/> <br/>
