<span style="color: #222222;">In Himachal Pradesh, the maiden five day Jan Ashirwad Yatra led by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur is going to conclude in Una district tonight.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Around 90 events were organized and a distance of over 620 kms was covered during the Yatra which started last Thursday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the people and Mr Thakur was given a grand welcome across the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It was the Union Minister's first maiden visit to his home state Himachal Pradesh after taking charge of two important ministries in the recent cabinet reshuffle.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, 35 assemblies spread across eight districts were covered where a large number of people thronged to see and hear Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Cabinet Minister's visit was also special as Anurag Thakur not only highlighted the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union Government, but also shared his priorities with the people of Himachal as the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Information and Broadcasting.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the occasion Anurag Thakur also held press conferences in four Lok Sabha constituencies of the state and addressed several public gatherings.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Minister said how the Congress-led opposition parties disrupted the recently concluded monsoon session of Parliament.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He condemned the unruly behaviour of opposition parties.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He stated Himachals rich art, culture and  heritage would be promoted to be recognized globally.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further added sports would also be promoted in a big way in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the yatra union minister Anurag Thakur also flagged off the Fit India run at many places under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Jan Ashirwad Yatra ends this evening at Mehatpur  in Una district today. </span><br />''  <br />
