Fitness concerns continue to rattle team India in England

Fitness concerns continue to rattle the visiting Indian team in England. Off spinner Harbhajan Singh and batsman Yuv Raj Singh have been ruled out of the remaining two Tests against England. They will be replaced by left arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and batsman Virat Kohli. Ojha has been recalled for the third test at Edgbaston starting next week. Harbhajan Singh sustained stomach injury during India's 319-run defeat in Nottingham where he bowled only 13.4 overs. Left-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh, who replaced opener Gautam Gambhir, got hit on his left hand in the final innings of the 2nd Test by a short ball from English pacer Tim Bresnan. Seamer Zaheer Khan is still a doubtful starter due to his hamstring injury sustained during the first Test at Lord's. Meanwhile, explosive batsman Virendra Sehwag, who missed the first two tests due to shoulder injury, is joining Team India to bolster up batting.India play a two-day tour game against Northamptonshire from Friday before the third Test which begins at Edgbaston on August 10. India trail 0-2 in the four-match Test series.
