<span style="color: #222222;">Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today took the lead to launch the campaign of Fit India Movement which has been launched in the country by the Prime Minister.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The Chief Minister took a two-kilometer walk from his residential quarters to his office chamber at Main Secretariat, Shillong launching the #WalktoWorkMeghalaya which is a part of the 'Fit India Campaign'. <br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He told media that the campaign 'walk to work' is a part of the Fit India Movement of the Prime Minister. The idea of 'walk to work' will have multiple benefits, cuts the cost of fuel including reduction of CO2 emission, reduce congestion in the city and more importantly for health and fitness, the Chief Minister said.</span><br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;"> If the population in Shillong starts to adopt the campaign in the weeks to come and ensure that you walk to work once a week it will lead to a great deal of benefits to the individual and to the society as a whole, he said. He urged the citizens of the State to join and be a part of Fit India Movement.</span><br />
