First Women World Cup Kabaddi begins

The first Women World Cup Kabaddi began at Patna in Bihar today. The championship has been organized at the Patliputra Sports Complex. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated it this afternoon. The inaugural match will be between India and Korea late this evening.Besides India, 16 countries including, USA, Japan, Canada, Iran and Italy will vie for the World Cup title. After the league matches, quarter and semi final matches will be played on knock out basis. The event will conclude on Sunday with the semifinal and final matches.
