Kashmir valley received its first snowfall of the season, signaling the arrival of winter. The State MeT director Sonum Lotus said today, snowfall has been reported overnight in the upper mountainous reaches of Gulmarg tourist resort. Moderate snowfall was also received in mountains of Bandipora and Kupwara districts. Intermittent rains across the Valley since yesterday have brought a sharp dip in the day temperature in the region.
