First Session of UP Legislative Assembly starts on stormy note

<span style="color: #222222;">In Uttar Pradesh, the First Session of the 18th State Legislative Assembly started on a stormy note today with Opposition's sloganeering during the Governor's speech. On the inaugural day of the Budget Session, Governor Anandiben Patel addressed a joint session of both houses of the State Legislature. In her speech, Governor said that the State Government is working for the welfare of poor and marginalized sections of the society and started various schemes for them. Later, the house was adjourned after the Governor's speech. The new Assembly's first session will last till 31st of May. The first budget of the Yogi Adityanath Government's second term will be tabled in the House on Thursday. The first time, the proceedings of the house went paperless.
