The Bihar Government is contemplating a law to get work done within a given time frame. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said today that the Right to Service Bill is likely to come up for discussion in the current Assembly session and if not possible, in the next session. AIR Patna correspondent reports that the proposed legislation would fix responsibility for completing a task within a given time frame. A provision of penalty for failing to meet the deadline could also be in the pipeline. The first session of the newly constituted Bihar Assembly began from today. The session will be up to December 9. The newly elected legislators are being administered oath by Protem speaker Sadnand Singh. The administration of oath will continue till December 2. The Speaker of the Assembly will be elected on December 2.
