First semi-high speed train Gatiman Express flagged off for Agra from Delhi

India's First Semi-High Speed Train Gatimaan Express has reached Agra on time in 100 minutes. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu flagged off the much-awaited train from Nizamuddin Railway station this morning. The Nizamuddin-Agra Gatiman Express runs at a speed of 160 kilometer per hour and cover the 200 km distance in one hours and 40 minute.<br/><br/>The train will run six days a week except Friday in both directions. Usually, it will start journey from Nizamuddin at 8.10 AM and will reach Agra at 9.50 AM. In the return direction, train will depart from Agra at 5.50 PM to reach Nizamuddin at 7.30 PM. The fare for fully air conditioned chair car is Rs 750 , while for executive Class, it is Rs 1,500.
