In Bihar amidst tight security arrangements, polling is underway for the first phase of Panchayat elections in the state. The polling began at 7 am and will continue up to 5 pm. In Naxal affected area, polling will end at 3 pm. AIR Patna correspondent reports that over 46 lakhs electorates will decide the fortune of one lakh 43 thousand one hundred eighty five candidates.
