First ODI match between India and South Africa abandoned in Dharamsala due to incessant rain

The first One-Day International match between India and South Africa was today abandoned in Dharamsala without a ball being bowled due to incessant rain. The Indian team led by Virat Kohli will now take on Quinton de Kock-led South Africa in the 2nd ODI in Lucknow on the 15th of March.  The third and final ODI  will be played in Kolkata's iconic Eden Gardens on 18th March.

South Africa tour of India is the last one before the start of the IPL-2020. This India vs South Africa match is the first one since both the teams faced each other in the ICC World Cup-2019.
