<span style="color: #222222;">In Andhra Pradesh, &nbsp; major decisions were taken &nbsp; &nbsp;at the first Cabinet Meeting today.&nbsp; Hike in the salary of several categories of workers, 27 % Interim Relief to the Govt. employees and implementation of Cash &nbsp;Assistance &nbsp;Scheme for Farmers were some of the major decisions taken by the new cabinet today at Amaravathy.<br />'' &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />'' The six hour-long &nbsp;Cabinet meeting was presided over by A. P.&nbsp; Chief Minister &nbsp;Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy. The cabinet decided to increase the salary of community health workers under the Tribal &nbsp;Welfare Department from current Rs. 400 to Rs. 4,000 a &nbsp;month.&nbsp; The move is expected to benefit 7,265 health workers in the Integrated Tribal Development Authority (ITDA) as per ITDA Officials. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />'' The Monthly Social Security Pension for aged &nbsp;and other beneficiaries was also enhanced from Rs. 2000/- to &nbsp;Rs.2,250/- &nbsp;The Cabinet also decided to constitute a committee to decide on the proposal to merge the &nbsp;Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation ( APSRTC )with the State Government.</span><br />
