The Election Commission will hold the first ever International Conference on Voter Education in New New Delhi today. The topic of the Conference is- Voter Education for Inclusive, Informed and Ethical Participation.Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Nasim Zaidi will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi about the conference, Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha said, it is being organised with an aim to sharing best practices, policies and initiatives of voter education by election management bodies.<br/><br/> He said, 27 countries and five international organisation are participating in the three day event. Mr Sinha said, the Conference will also aim at achieving a Resolution to strengthen inclusive, informed and ethical electoral participation among member countries with the help of voter education and outreach.
