Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that India will leave its benchmark worldwide in business dispute redressal with the setting up of international arbitration centre in Mumbai. <br/><br/>Inaugurating the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration, MCIA in Mumbai yesterday, Mr Fadnavis said that setting up of a state of art first ever international arbitration centre in the country is an important step in dispute resolution system. <br/><br/>He also said the Arbitration Centre is in sync with the Prime Minister's Make in India campaign. The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Centre would provide a time bound and cost-effective facility and reinforce investor confidence.<br/><br/>In the absence of an international arbitration centre in the country, the majority of global disputes earlier landed at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
