The first ever International Agro-biodiversity Congress will be held in New Delhi tomorrow. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the four day conference which will be attended by 900 delegates from 60 countries. <br/><br/>The event will initiate and encourage a dialogue among stakeholders, including farmers, to better understand everyones role in agro-biodiversity management and the conservation of genetic resources. <br/><br/>The IAC will shed light on how conserving agro-biodiversity can lead to its sustainable use for food and nutritional security of ever-increasing world population. It will also address the threats imposed by climate change and ways to achieve sustainable agriculture production. <br/><br/>India is one of the mega-diversity centres possessing unique crop and animal diversity.
