First Gulf Maharashtra Business Convention underway in Dubai

First Gulf Maharashtra Business Convention got underway in Dubai today, which is being organised jointly by Gulf Maharashtra Business Forum (GMBF) and India Trade Exhibition Centre, Middle East (ITEC, Middle East ).<br/><br/>The Member of parliament Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil who was the chief guest on the occasion called upon the business people in the Gulf to avail the opportunity in Maharashtra available for setting up a robust business and industry. The Ambassador of India to the UAE, MK Lokesh delivering keynote address mentioned historical links between Gulf countries and India and Maharashtra state. Consul General of India in Dubai, Sanjay Verma also spoke on the occasion.<br/><br/>The conference, called MahaBiz 2010 Dubai is the First Gulf Maharashtra Business Convention, which is being organised jointly by Gulf Maharashtra Business Forum (GMBF) and India Trade Exhibition Centre, Middle East (ITEC, Middle East ).<br/><br/>Nearly 150 businessmen including leading industrialists and a number of trade delegations representing various chambers of commerce are participating in the convention.<br/><br/>An exhibition and trade fair is also being organised on the sidelines, where primary focus remains on agricultural and food products, travel and tourism, education, SME, engineering, IT, professional services, trade and commerce.<br/>
