The first-ever National Toy Fair will be organized from 27th of February to 2nd of March through a virtual medium. It aims to boost toy manufacturing in the country and improve its global market share in line with the theme of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. <br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports, Mattel Toys (India) Pvt. Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers which is participating in the National Toy Fair. Lauding the efforts of the Central Government for coming up with this first-of-its-kind initiative, Mr. Lalit Agrawal, Country Manager of Mattel India said, this Toy fair is a reflection of the government's commitment towards promoting the Indian toy industry. Speaking about 'vocal for local' initiative of the government, Mr. Agrawal said, the Toy fair is an opportunity to display toys made in India at par with international standards by keeping safety and quality parameters in mind and also making them global.<br />'' <br />''Jay Precision Products Private Limited, which is into the business since the last three decades is also participating in the fair. Talking to AIR, Mr. Zubin Rao of the company said that the Toy Fair will provide an international exposure to the indigenous toy manufacturers. He said, in the international market, Indian toy manufacturers have to compete with Chinese companies.
